21 Marlboro Grads On 2022-23 Opening Night NHL Rosters
As one of the most successful development organizations in all of minor hockey – over their long-storied history the Marlboros have sent hundreds of players up the ladder to the NHL level
Prior to the implementation of the universal entry draft in 1967 – Marlboro minor players made their way up the various minor age groups – graduated to the Marlboro Junior teams – and eventually to the Leaf’s themselves
With the universal draft presently in place all 32 NHL teams have equal access to all the young talent – but the flow of Marlboros to the NHL ranks has only increased in recent years
On opening night of the 2022 – 2023 season there were a total of 21 Marlboro grads on NHL rosters – as well as another 10 Marlboros on NHL American league affiliates.
