2013 OHL Draft

Dylan Strome & Mitchell Stephens Lead the Way

This year’s Draft which took place on Saturday, April 6th saw 2 ‘97’s drafted in the 1st Round

All year both Dylan Strome and Mitchell Stephens persevered to help the ’97 Marlboros stay on top of their game. They were both rewarded by being chosen in the 1st Round of the 2013 OHL Draft. Strome who was selected by Erie Otters will join a number of former Marlboros, including Connor McDavid; and Stephens will make his OHL debut with the Saginaw Spirit.

All in all 14 players from the Marlboro ’97 team were selected, that is the most by any organization which is certainly a tribute to the players, coaching staff, and their parents.

Good Luck as you move up the Ladder!
