2014 OHL Draft
Marlboros are proud to announce that 4 players were selected in the 1st round of the OHL Priority Draft.
On Saturday, April 5th the OHL held their annual “Priority Draft”. As an organization we are very proud of our players, coaches and parents for having the trust in the organization over the years to provide an opportunity for their sons to continue to work towards their dream. In all, our Club had 4 players selected in the 1st Round, more than any other Association in the Province of Ontario. Michael McLeod, notably a very skilled, high end player with a future in the upper levels of hockey was the Marlboros 1st Draft Pick, 5th Overall…Michael, Congratulations!!.
Interesting to note that Taylor Raddysh went to Erie in the 1st Rd. to join his brother Darren; shortly after Kyle Maksimovich went in the 3rd Rd. to join his brother Quentin at Erie as well. Kyle was very deserving of his status! Both families have been together for the better part of 7 years.
