Marlboros are proud to announce that 3 players were selected in the 1st round of the OHL Priority Draft.

On Saturday, April 11th the OHL held their annual “Priority Draft”. As an organization we are very proud of our players, coaches and parents for having the trust in the organization over the years to provide an opportunity for their sons to develop in our Marlboro organization and strive toward their ultimate dreams. In all, our Club had 3 players selected in the 1st Round, more than any other Association in the Province of Ontario. Ryan McLeod, notably a very skilled, was the Marlboros 1st Draft Pick, 3rd Overall. Ryan, Congratulations!

Ben Jones, a skilled and physical player followed shortly after, being picked 7th overall, Congratulations!!
Immediately following Ben, 8th overall was Matt Strome. Matt is a true power forward and brother of Ryan Strome of the New York Islanders; and Dylan Strome currently projected at 4 or 5 in the upcoming June NHL Draft. Congratulations to all our boys who were drafted.
