Marlboros Win University of Western Michigan Super Series
The Toronto Marlboros 2002 Minor Bantam team keep their winning tradition going this past weekend.

The team boarded their bus and headed off to compete with the best teams from the United States in the Western Michigan University Super Series.

They were the only team to go undefeated in the tournament with a record of 4 wins and 1 tie outscoring the top US teams including Little Ceasars, Chicago Mission, Chicago Fury, ISS Kings, and Green Bay Gamblers by a score of 19-5 in the process.

The team was led in scoring by Jamie Drysdale and Lleyton Moore with 7 points each and who tied to win the tournament scoring title. Will Cullye had a strong tournament with 6 points and Michael Bianconi and Reid Valade chipped in with 5 and 4 points respectively.

The team again received great goaltending from Connor MacKenzie and Chris Adolphe who combined to record the lowest goals against in the tournament with each recording a shut-out in the process.

This tournament win pushes their undefeated start to the 2015-2016 session to 14 games and this title follows on their recent championship capturing the Toronto Red Wings early bird tournament earlier in September.
