The 2008 Toronto Marlboros captured the GTHL Championship on Tuesday April 2nd defeating the Vaughn Kings 2-1 in Game 8 of the series. The Toronto Marlboros went up 3-0 in the series and the Vaughn Kings clawed their way back tying the series 7-7 forcing game 8. The 2008 Marlboros showed tremendous compete, perseverance and discipline overcoming the adversity they faced in the city finals – Congratulations gentlemen!!
Its been a decorated season for the 2008 Toronto Marlboros winning the Drew Doughty Invitational, Buffalo Jr. Sabres Invitational, 50th Annual Silver Stick, Pro-Hockey Life Cup and GTHL Canada Championship.
The 2008 Toronto Marlboros now prepare to represent the GTHL as the number 1 seed in the upcoming 2019 OHF’s being held in London, Ontario.
The 2008 Coaching Staff would like to congratulate and thank all the players and their families on an outstanding 2018/2019 season. We wish the players continued success in the upcoming OHF’s.
